Surnames: Crabtree, Cowen, Cowan, Gragg
Looking for Jobe or Job Crabtree last married to Mary Elizabeth Cowan or Cowen in 1860. Unable to determine from what family he came from. Just kind of popped up in Kansas. He may have previously been married to Eleanor/Elender Gragg / Cowen who was Mary Elizabeth Cowen's mother. Both were married to a Job Crabtree, but not at the same time. Eleanor married Jobe/Job in 1856. Job appeared on the Voter's List indicating Settelment in the area of Feb 1857. While married to Eleanor they had two child: Robert M. & Lovina. Then he disappears, and a person named Job materializes to marry Mary E. Cowen in 1860 before entering the Calvary unit in Kansas Sept. 1861 and dies of disease at Fort Scott in Dec. 1861. Job/Jobe had no children by Mary Elizabeth Cowan. Don't know if the same guy married both mother and daughter?
