The Jean Carrier who heads this line was born in Xaintes, France in 1640 and was married in Quebec November 1670 so this predates the French Revolution. Gayle

This is the first entry in the Coyer Clan book: Jean Carrier, from St. Andre de Xaintes, bap. 24 Nov 1622; married 1st 1639 Jeanne Dodier, from St. Georges (?des-Coteaux) de Xaintes; resided in St. Georges de Xaintes (now Saintes) in western France; probably never came to Canada (New France). Married 2d Marie Pagere. It is believed that Jean Carrier's parents were Jean and Elizabeth (Ayrault) Carrier. The children of jean and Jeanne (Dodier) Carrier:

Is there anything in the book about a Marie or Marguerite Coyer, born about 1818 in French Canada (most likely in Laprairier, Quebec) who married a Nelson Montondo (b.1818) and moved to LeRay, Jefferson, New York? I've been trying to find information on her parents.
