Surnames: Coxhead,Bird and Gannon
I am looking for any information on Rosina COXHEAD.I have only a bit about Rosina.I know Rosina married Walter Augustus BIRD in Marylebone, London.
Rosina was probably born in the 1860s or 1870s in London or at least the south of England.
They had only one known child called Ida Constance BIRD born:18/4/1902.Ida later married Henry Gannon.
Any information would be helpful.

Thanks for that info Anne, but I've think I've found the person I'm looking for.It turns out that her name was probably Rose.
But thanks any way!
By the way I am realated to the Agers, through my great grandmother on my mothers side! If there is a Elijah Ager or George Ager or an Isaac Ager in your family tree we could be realated!

No Danielle, her name was Rosina. Although she appears on the 1881 census as Rosanna. It was Walter who had a sister called Rose. Rosina was the name on her marriage entry. And Ida Constance Bird had several brothers and sisters, namely Alice, Ivy Florence, Dorothy, Amy Florence (who died aged 14) Harry, Ernest, Frederick and Walter not in chronological order but I'm afraid I can't be sure of anything other than Walter and Alice who were the eldest and Frederick I believe was the youngest, Ida was also I believe the youngest girl (she was always called Connie). My cousin Peggy believes there were 14 children, but I always understood the ones I have named were all of the children.

I have read your message in response to Danielle, she is my granddaughter and we have been trying to find where Rosina was born. She married my grandfather in 1886 but the only one close was a Rosanna from Berkshire in the 1881 census. This would have made her 16 when she married but I know she was 20/21, she died in 1935 aged 70 so you seem to have found the right one - but where did you find her. Please let me know as we have come to a full stop on the Coxheads.
Danielle is currently off-line as they have had trouble with their computer, hopefully she will be back soon. She is a great 12 year old, my sons daughter and his pride and joy.
My e-mail address is Kath5686@aol.com. If you wouldn't mind letting me know how to get the information you have found - many thanks.
Kathleen

Interesting 2 different Walter Birds who named their daughters Ida Constance Bird. My Ida is born in 1875 or 77 and although I could find no brothers in the BMD file The London Times Obit for her(1945) has her leaving 500 pounds for a memorial window in memory of her brother John Vincent Sandy Bird, the late rector of Frinton on Sea.This Ida Constance Bird married Charles William Burls.
