Hi folks. I have seens a couple of databases on line that mention a William Cox, born about 1772 in South Carolina, who married a Phebe, born abt. 1787 (surname not mentioned). Their children as listed were Wade Simpson Cox and Willis Cox. I have seen the widowed Phoebe in the 1830 (Hall County GA) census, as well as the 1840 and 1850 (Henry County, TN) census.

My question is.....does anyone out there know the maiden name of this Phoebe who married William?
