looking for information on great great grandfather......have some infromation on him but still can't find him....was born about 1848 in cherokee county, georgia(?) know he was on the 1850 census at the age of two living in the household of James Coward age 66, Polly age 58, Mary age 24, Zillah age 21, Taylor age 2(this is also scott), and Lowenda age 1.... all are listed as born in North Carolina, except Taylor and Lowenda they are listed as born in Georgia...also know he married twice..the first time to Narcissus A.M. Fowler on June 8th, 1870. there is an article called the "Fatal Dance" by Robert S. Dave, Jr. in the spring 1989 North Gerogia Journal on this. Narcissus was murder by Kate Southern at a dance in the home of a neighbor, John Hambrick...Narcissus died on Feb. 10th, 1887..they had one daughter Louvinia. know he in the civil war. have been told he was 1/2 cherokee but with out more on his family before him is impossible to know... he moved to a place call white sandy bottom, arkansa and lived for about 12 years. he went to arkanas in 1874.....he married Sarah Adaline Kennedy on May 28, 1876....she was born on Jan. 12, 1864, Marshall County, Al, and died on Apr. 12, 1939 in Decatur, Morgan County, Al.
Scott died Sept. 13, 1902 in Morgan County, Al. know they had 3 sons and 3 daughters. any information on this family....
