My g/t,g/t,g/t Grandfather was William Court who fatherd Edward bn 1865 at Kirdford West Sussex,Edward became a publican at St Pancras,Chichester.I have seen at East Dean Church carved into a column the name , Daniel Court, 1580.He was a church warden.One son of Edward was Alfred who moved to Ashton Under Hill,Gloucestershire,where he was the baker.So I am looking for descendants. Thanks to all.

HiRalph Alfred Frank Court baker of Ashton under Hill son of Edward was my g/t g/f,. his youngest son my g/f Alfred Reginald came to Australia were he jumped ship 1906-7 approx., &marr.,my g/m Mabel Lillian Spalding in 1908 & they had 4 child.,3 deceased.

My G-grandfather Harry Budd was the publican of The Coach and Horses in St Pancras in the late 1800's and it remained in my family until 1939 I believe. However there were at least two public houses in St Pancras. I will check this out on my next visit if you would like to know the names of the others.

My grandfather had a brother named Harry Budd, born around 1862, to Charlotte Budd

Hi,

I am looking for an Alfred Court m. an Emma Mariah Hollington (or Hollings/Collings/Collington? from poss. Redditch or Manchester Eng. My Alfred was called "Shorty" and someone has said the family owned a pub thereabouts. Alfred & Emma Maria had at least these children - John William (called Will or Willie) b. cir. 1887 and James, b. ? They all (4?) came to US, Brooklyn NY area around 1900 or so.

Any help grately appreciated.

A bit late now,my g/t,g/t grand dad ,Edward Court bn1804 ran the George and Dragon ,North St,Chichester 1843-1849,it is still there,same name,been there etc.

I have a William Court(dob 1833, 1841 census) in my family tree who was brother to Richard Court who is my grt/grt/grandfather. Is this the same William as in your tree?
