I have a Willie Courson born Sept 1897, the son of Ross Courson and Virginia (or Virgie) Boyd, who were married 6 Aug 1896 in Jackson County. The family is in the 1900 Census in Bird Township, Jackson County (Heritage Quest indexes the head of household as "Kas Corson".) Unfortunately, that's all of the information I have on Willie or William.

In 1920, Russ Courson is enumerated as a laborer in the Walter C. Skelton household in East Bird Township, Jackson County.
