I'm trying to research the family of my grandfather Robert Coulter who left Ireland between 1892 and 1900. He left behind his father John Coulter a farmer, a brother Joseph and a sister Annie. They may have lived in Fivemiletown. We know very little about his family in Ireland other than his father, John Coulter had died before 1925 when Robert got married. Annie Coulter married someone called Jones and they lived near Joseph Coulter off the Ormeau Road in Belfast. They lived there during the second world war but were not at the addresses I have for them by 1950. My father did not grow up with his Father but in a childrens home and so was not able to learn anything about Roberts early life.

I would love to hear from anyone that can connect with my Coulters or can give me any ideas what to do next. I'm hoping to visit Ireland later this year with my Dad. We'll start with the GRO in Belfast researching all Robert Coulters born in those two years. If that fails we may go and have a look at Fivemiletown anyway. ANY IDEAS GRATEFULLY RECEIVED! Thanks
