Searching for info regarding Charles & Ida Virginia (BEIGE) COULTER from Woodcock Twp. in PA. Ida was born 1853, no birth date for Charles. They had a daughter Maude Velora, born (1874) in Woodcock Twp, Crawford County, PA, who married Adriel LaDuff GREENLEE. We have a family Bible inscribed "Josiah COULTER 1880" on front & "Susan V. Coulter 1880" on back, but not sure how they fit into the family tree. No other info in the Bible. Possibly Josiah was Charles' brother? I'd appreciate any information possible. Thanks!

Ida Virginia Beige (1853-1935) is my great grand aunt, sister to my great grandfather Charles Oliver Beige. She married Charles C. Coulter (1852-1924) and together they had 3 children, Maude, Tracy and Emily.

I have some old photos of Ida and Charles, Maude, LaDuff and other family members I would be pleased to share with you.

The parents of Charles, Josiah Coulter (1820-1903) and Susan V. Ames Coulter (1822-1916) are buried in the Gravel Run Cemetery near Venango, Crawford, PA.

I have a Josiah COULTER Jr b.abt 1820 married to a Susan ?
Josiah was supposed to have gone west(?) per a copy of a letter I have in my possession written by a niece, Anna COULTER Lawton. Josiah and his brother, Archibald both left Mercer Co.,Pa, Archibald going to Morgan Co., OH where he became a prominent citizen. Archibald married a Levina Hazen in Pa prior to moving to Ohio . Their father was Josiah Sr and grandfather was Archibald COULTER. All came to Mercer Co. form the Gettysburg, PA area.
