Looking for information on the parentage of Frances Coulter. She married William Bottom prior to the 1850 census, probably in Mercer County, Kentucky. He had previously been married to Jane Cornwall and had at least three children in that first marriage. There are three children listed with them in 1850, William, Dudley and John. John is 9 and I'm not certain whether he is Jane and Frances' child. The only Coulter's I find in Mercer in 1840 are Matthew and Harrison. Matthew is extremely old and has no children living with him. His location in the census is closer to William however. Harrison doesn't appear to have a child old enough in 1840.
William and Frances moved to Renick, Randolph County, Missouri by the 1860 census and both were still there in the 1880 census. William was 71 and Frances (Fannie) was 59. Any information on her background would be appreciated.
