A year or so ago I spoke with your sister and then her email address changed and I lost touch with her. Your great grandparents were Cheslie Cainly Coulter and Lovie Kerns. Alice Coulter was their only child to survive to adulthood. Lovie did die young from diabetes. She was 42. I have had contact with your uncle Rudy Rogers and your aunt Betty Bellamy in the past year also. Your grandmother Alice had many, many cousins but I think you are referring to Elba Coulter who was Alice's double first cousin. Lovie Kern's sister, Ginny Kerns was married Cheslie Coulter's brother, Theo Coulter. That made their children double first cousins. I also have contact with some of Theo and Ginny's descendants.

Cheslie Coulter was the son of Riley Coulter and Harriet Meadows. Lovie Kerns was the daughter of Jackson Kerns and Sarah Blankenship. Email me privately for more details. I have been working on the Coulters for many years. My great grandmother was a sister to Riley Coulter

Debbie, tried to send you an e mail but came back. I am Virginia, Uncle Elba's daughter. I lived in my father's house at Ansted in late 80's when Alice would come in for visits at her Ansted house. My son Joey was Alice's buddy when she was in down there. I know Joe and Patricia well, was at Joe's funeral and at Alice's wake and funeral. Before I was married, you would come with your parents to our house to visit. E mail me and we will get it together to meet again, and I have most anything you want to learn. We have cousins who have been working on this for over eight years and i have had privilege of connecting with them to exchange info. The Vanessa Dumrauf that answered your querey is one of them. I do remember you, red hair and cute as can be, and you came to see your grandmother in the late 80's at Ansted house, pregnant and wearing bib's. Please get in touch.

Hi! My grandparents were William Edward Rogers and Alice Esther Coulter Rogers. I was born in May 1956 and Ed died in November 1957. The only mention I ever heard of Ed's family was something my grandmother told me about one day. She said that she and Ed were at the cemetary at Green Castle up Paint Creek near Burnwell. She said that Ed's parents were buried there and he could not find the graves. She was telling me how upset he was that he could not find them. Other than that, I know nothing of his family.

I would be interested in any info you have managed to get together.
