Hi Diane,
I think that these obits belonged to my GGM Laura (McBane) Conn. They are mostly 1950 or earlier, and if they are not family, they have a "Presbyterian Church" link. She played the organ in the Frankfort Springs Presbyterian Church for 35 years, & was active in church. GGF James Conn was a Beaver Co. Commisioner, farmer & worked the oil fields. Maybe they were in Grange together ? I have not found any family link between us yet.
I have been working on my Dad's family, & have had to pay a genealogist, so I love to post info for FREE. I LOVE FREE !! I found my Dad's GGGP buried in a Menonite Cemt. in York Co. Pa. My Dad thinks he is a "ladies man". It was GREAT to tell him he is Amish !!!! I live close to Holmes Co. Oh. Lots of Amish live there !!
Good luck with your research. I plan to take digital pictures of some cemeteries in Pa. next summer. I will post those on rootsweb too. I will let you know when they are read
Happy Thanksgiving ! Deb
