Hi,
Yes, we did have someone marry a SHOOK. George SHOOK , b. 1814, or thereabout, married Eliza SHAW. She was born abt 1824. I have June 4, 1820, NY. and d. FEB 25 1893. In the 1880 Census she was living with her son, Wellington SHOOK, in Ada, Kent, MI He was b. abt. 1846 in NY. He married Eliza KELLEY? Their other son was John. I know they lived in Cambria, Niagara Co., in 1840, after they were married for a while. They moved to MI. George's father was Philip SHOOK ,b. 1782 PA; and guessing his mother was Mary Lilly, but have seen Hannah Lilly, her sister.
Hope we have a connection.
