Mrs. E.T. Couchon dies at Age of 72 After Long Illness
Easthampton- Mrs. Roseanna (Brodeur) Couchon, 72, wife of Edward Couchon of 46 Ridgewood Ter., died last night at her home after a long illness.
Born in Swanton, VT,. July 9, 1882, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Brodeur, she came to Northampton with her parents as a child of nine and then moved to Easthampton, where she ha been a resident for the last 50 years. Mrs. Couchon was a member of the St. Anne Sodality of the Notre Dame Church.
She was married on Feb 14, 1914, at the Notre Dame Church by the late Rev. Fr. Lord to Mr. Couchon, who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Roland of Boston, Francis of this town and Norman at home, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the O'Brien funeral home on Thursday morning at 8:30, followed by a high Mass of requiem at 9 at the Notre Dame Church with burial in St. Brigid's cemetery. Friends may call ath the funeral home this evening from 7 to 10 and Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
