I am so glad to have found your messages!!! I am Grace's granddaughter (Deanna's daughter) and have been searching for information on Arthur and my great grandmother - Katharine Robbs. You may not be able to help me with Katharine's information, but any information on Arthur is more than what I now possess. Please email me directly - tamra_j@prodigy.net

Is this connection still good? Please Reply. I am doing research for a daughter of Joseph Couchman, name of Christina Hudson, Milton/Lewes Delaware. She has told me of the work of Johnathan of California and I would like to know where this work can be obtained? Do you know of this Joseph Couchman family of Rehoboth Delaware. Thank you Harry Howeth Lewes Delaware hryevon@comcast.net

Re: Henry Clair Couchman and Delphine Meyer
Henry Claire Couchman was my grandfather. He died in the Veterans Hospital in Wilmington/Elsmere, Delaware. My grandparents lived in Dewey Beach, Delaware. They retired to Dewey Beach back in the 1950's. My dad, John Paul, and his brother, Joseph, helped my grandfather build the house.
I live in Dover, DE. Every time I go down to the beach, I have to go by the house for sentiment. I wish I owned the house! When my poppop died, I was a newlywed without two nickels to rub together. My dad, John, did not want a rental property and none of his siblings did, either. Both of my sisters were not interested, so guess what? It was sold. The good news is whoever owns it takes lovely care of the place and it is a warm, inviting property. I still am jealous!!!

Re: Benedict and Catherine Couchman of Berkeley Co., WV
My wife's grandmother (Beulah Gibson Acre) and your father were first cousins. Beulah was the daughter of Charles Wesley Gibson and the granddaughter of Truman Wallace Gibson. Hallie March Gibson was her aunt. I would love to communicate with other members of this family. ed@hill-ky.org
