We are clutching at straws but saw you are researching Coughlan and Casey.
Do you have any info about Mary Kate Coughlan and/or Michael Henry Casey who we think married in Shoreditch, London in 1909.
Do you have any Coughlan links to London at the turn of the 20th century?

I know you posted this question six years ago but I figured I'd answer anyway. My father did an extensive genealogy of the Cotell family and your Grandfather is in it (along with your parents I assume because it's got his children in it as well). Anyway, I'm pretty sure my dad knew your grandfather...I may even remember him mentioning him. Anyway, I could ask him questions if you'd like. What do you want to know? Does anyone have any information about Cotells who lived around Turin or East Martinsburg in Lewis County, New York, in the mid to late 1800's?

I'm not related, but I'm trying to piece together the history of a murder case in Ohio from the late 1800's, and the alleged perpetrator was a Cotell from Turin, New York.

In researching my Sullivan family back to Skibbereen Ireland, I came across a family member, Hannah O'Sullivan, who was born Sept 2, 1869 to James O'Sullivan and Sarah Burchill. It is known that she went to Brisbane Australia about 1889. Once there she married a Cottell. His first name unknown but it is remebered that they had a son called Raymond. My grandfather was John James Cottell, born 8.4.1893 and the birth was registered in Battersea, London. His father was Fred Cottell a master house decorator and his mother Elizabeth Pointer. Does this connect to you at all?

Edith Lily MACNISH (Mt Perry, Qld, 1873 - ..., 1960), married William Samson
COTTELL who was born in Roma in 1871.
