Re: Cota in L.A. looking for original Cota's from Sinaloa de Leyva, Sinaloa, Mexico
Hey there , well I'm from the Cota family from my fathers side we are located in the Bakersfield area in California . My grandfathers name is Alejandro Cota born in 1940 in Sinaloa de Leyva , Sinaloa , Mexico . His father was Teodoro Cota who already pass & since my grandpa decided to migrate to California to work , he might not know much . However it doesn't hurt to ask , you can leave any question you have & I'll gladly ask him if he knows anything . He still lives in Llano Grande , Sinaloa where my dad & aunts & uncles grew up .

Hi Felicita, thanks for your reply. I'm at a dead end. The only good news at this time is that I finally located my Mother's Birth name: Maria Alberta Soto Galvan. I'm waiting for a reply from Mexico National Records, I hope to receive her Family Tree. If there is anything in there that might match with your information I will advise. Thanks again and have a good day. Ed Romero
