My husband David is the son of John Marshall Cosby and Martha Ann Coleman. John's father was William Randolph Cosby, Sr.(Richmond). If you were at Williams "Ran's" funeral in 1992 we have met. I have some information on the family line, but not alot. John and Martha were divorced a long time ago and he (John) never really played an active role in my husbands life. I am now in the process of doing our family genealogy and would like to have a copy/copies of anything you might have regarding the family. I have an application form for membership in the Colonial Dames from an Edith Marshall Cosby Wintersmith which does outline some of the family line. If you happen to know the last name of William Sr.'s first wife Lorraine ? I would love to know. Appreciate anything you can send my way.
