LANCASTER: Edda L. Pierce, 87, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Thursday July 9, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on April 29, 1928 in Verteneglio, Istria to the late Ferruccio and Onoria (Cattunar) Corsi.
Edda was a cook for Anchor Hocking Glass for over 25 years and was a cashier for Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster, Ohio for 20 years.
She was a member of the Olivedale Senior Citizens and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Edda is survived by her children Anna (Gary) Norris, Theresa Marshall, Tina (David) Fant, Gary (Tonya) Pierce, Robert Pierce, John Pierce Jr., Rodney Pierce; grandchildren Jeff (Holly) Robinson, Nikki Guinther, Doug (Stacey) Wasem, Abby (Drew) Williams, Matthew (Elizabeth) Young, Tammy (John) Hadley, Tristan Pierce, Cameron Pierce, Jamie Pierce, Shane Pierce, Stephanie Pierce; 13 great grandchildren one great great grandchild; sisters Maria Miller, Donna Coker, Rita Corsi; special friends Linda (Mike) Huber, and Kathy Jarrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John H. Pierce, and son Bobby Pierce.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30AM on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at St. Mark Church.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday July 13 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home.
