I am descended from Daniel CARRIGAN and Mary McDONNELL through their daughter, Anne Elizabeth, born 3/20/1799 in County Longford and died 6/24/1864 in Newcastle, New Brunswick. On at least one record the surname was spelled CORRIGAN.

Anne married Edward FARRELL. Their son, Thomas, born 9/25/1843 in Newcastle, died 7/6/1914 in Brockton, MA married Ellen J HALEY on 7/6/1874. Ellen was born 6/22/1850 in Woodstock, New Brunswick and died 8/17/1938 in Boston. She was the daughter of Patrick HALEY and Mehitable FEELEY.

Ellen had several HALEY siblings who moved to Brockton or Boston, Massachusetts.

So far, I have not encountered the names O'ROURKE or CROSSIN in any of my branches. Nor did any of my ancestors get to Kentucky, as far as I know.

I do not see a connection at this point. Sorry.
