I have been trying to find out when Mary Cornman was born and died. I didn't find out that my grandmother had a family bible until after my Uncle Paul died. Aunt Joanne won't let anyone in the family see the bible or copy information out of it. My e-mail address is elliemaetanner@yahoo.com if you would like to correspond back and forth. Do you need more information on the family. The only family that is still alive is Uncle Donnie and Uncle Lawrence. I hope to hear back from you. Have a good evening. Eleanor

Sorry I don't know exactly when Mary died or even when she was born. My Aunt JoAnn has my grandmother's bible and she won't let anyone see it. I know Mary was the first born child and she was about 4 years old when she died. I would like to exchange information with you. I really don't have a lot. I would be more than happy to get you what information that I can. Thank You Eleanor

I have some details on Augustus D. Cornman, son of David and Elizabeth Cornman, residents of Carlisle in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Augustus came to Australia after the war and died in Sydney. His remains were turned over to the Sydney Medical School, as he had no relatives or friends to claim his remains when he died there in 1916. However, at the time of his death he had a daughter, Annie, living in Carlisle.

Hi Bernice,

I have no information on the Kornemann family. Kornemann is my married name (from x-husband). This Kornemann family came to America from Germany in 1952. I have never researched this family as I am no longer married to Mr. Kornemann and have never had any of his children, so would not research the family name.

My g-grandmother was a Cornman (Irish decent), and her father was William and she was born in Philadelphia in 1871.
So for the confusion.

Joyce
Philadelphia

At a branch of the Family History Center I was told that Cornman/Kornman didn't appear to be a German name. Which line of the Cornman's do you come from? Please e-mail me direct. They moved to Bradley Ark, when he was young. We believe his parents are buried there. Ralph had a son named Sam from his first marriage. There may be other children but Sam is the only one we heard of. Sam could have lived in California for a while. We guess he is older than 60. Ralph was a carpenter during WWII and for the rest of his life. There is also the name of Lassaundra or Lasandra we think was his grandmother possibly. Any information would greatly be appreciated. Thank you .
