I'm attempting to research my grandfather's side of the family but have been unable to find much information. I'm wondering if anyone can help.

Unfortunately I do not have many dates which is probably why I am having such trouble finding information.

My grandfather's name was Jude Douglas Cormier, born Dec 27th 1927(?), died August 4, 2012.

His parents were Helena (Lena) Cormier Thibodeau and Aldric (Alderic) LeBlanc.

Lena's parents were Josephine St. Peter(s) Cormier LeBlanc and Alfred Cormier (Alfred died and Josephine married Adolph LeBlanc).

Josephine's parents were Marceline Arseneau and ? St. Peter(s).

Not much information I'm afraid. We were always told that Lena's mother had Aboriginal blood in her, and we suspect it is on the St. Peter(s) side - but we can't find the name of her father, so cannot go back any farther. The only other information that I have is that most of the family came from Cape Bald, New Brunswick.

If anyone has any information that could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
