Arthur was born (according to his obituary) in Newmarket, NH on 3 Mar 1901; and died in Woonsocket, RI on 3 Oct 1965. According to his death, it said he married in Minneapolis, MN [Our Lady of Lourdes Ch.] (which I believe is located in the Little Canada section of that city, although it does not account for the fact that your Mary was born in Connecticut, unless they traveled back east... ???).
