Please see my post at the Gauthier Genforum (click this link) regarding these people. Obviously, the St-Jean-Baptiste database has incorrect info or half-correct: Dieudonné may have become Denis in Woonsocket and the Maheux may have been a second spouse. Meanwhile, see this message.
http://genforum.com/gauthier/messages/3264.htmlAlso, the parents of Emilia given in the repertoire of marriages for Notre-Dame de Grace of Hull, QC are: Joseph (that is Joseph-Dieudonné) & Adeline (AKA Celina) Anger (misreading of Auger!), p. 70. I just rechecked it and stand by my previous findings. This is also supported by the 1881 census of St-Tite (Titus), QC, examples of which are attached in which she was 15 years old, as yet unmarried and living with her parents. Sorry the original is light and hard to read. With regards any references to St-Stanislas (Champlain) as her birthplace, that parish was just down the road from St-Tite, but I have looked all day for her baptism which is not recorded in either parish. PS, the Alfred Potde-lin family should be Potdevin or Potvin, Aglaé being Emilia's sister, and her family were also living with them.
Also, please remember that the names and dates given in death records are given by other people (and these details could be incorrect), not the deceased who would know the exact details of their life.
Best regards,
Dennis
