I also am researching the Corgill's. My G-G-Grandfather was Samuel E. Corgill. 1860 census says he was born 1831 in SC. He married Letha Simms in Bossier Parrish LA in 1852. Died in the Civil War 1862 of the measles. Any information any one has would greatly be apprecated.Will share any information I have.
