Louise Corgill Hood, 66, died June 10, 2003 in her home in Taylor, Texas with her family at her bedside.

Services were held June 14, 2003 in Clarendon, Texas under the direction of Robertson Funeral Home with her funeral being in Citizen's Cemetery also in Clarendon, Texas Chapel of Memories with Richard Corgill, her newphew, officiating.

Louise was born April 14, 1937 in Estelline, Texas. She was raised in Turkey and spent most of her life there. She married J.W. Hood on March 13, 1981 and they retired on LBJ Lake in Granite Shoals, Texas till his death on June 19, 2000. She then moved to Taylor, Texas where her daughter lived.

She is preceeded in death by J.W. Hood, her mother and father, Will and Norma Corgill, and 1 brother, W.I. Corgill.

Her survivors includes: daughter Rieta (Garcin) Starnes of Taylor, Texas and her husband Marty and their 3 sons Jacob, Adam and Andrew; don Bo Garvin of Forsan, Texas and his wife Vanessa and their children Josh and Hanna; sister Sue Strange of Clause Texas, brothers Ray borgill of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Eugene Corgill of Midland, Texas and Jerry Corgill of Levelland, Texas; 13 nieces and nephews and numerous long time friends.
