Hi everybody,
I might have stumbled on the hitherto unknown wife of Daniel William, our entomologist. And by the way, if you haven't tried the search engine, Google, do try. It's very thorough! This is where I found the following:
In the web site, www.gunstonhall.org check out the seventh generation of the Mason Genealogy. No. 786, Anne Chew Dorsey, dau. of Catharine Chew Mason and John Thomas Beale Dorsey, is said to have married Daniel William Coquillet. Remember Daniel William is said to have spent time in Washington, DC, as did some descendants of this famous Mason family, soooo what do you think? So far, however, I've not been able to obtain any corroborative info. Let me know what you think. Regards, Pat

Classification: Query
I just found this old query posted by you in 2000. Perhaps, you have more information by now. But, in case you still are interested, Ann Chew Dorsey (1860-1928) was identified as the wife of Daniel William Coquillett in his obituary published in the Proceedings of the Entomological Society of Washington by the Entomological Society of Washington, Smithsonian Institution Dept. of Entomology in 1911.

In this obituary, it states that they were married on 18 Feb in Washington, D.C. and divorced about 1910.
