Researching Coquet ancestry
I'm looking for information on my grandparents, Pierre Mathurin Coquet and Josephine Blandin. They lived in France in a small town named Carquefou, near Nantes. They would have been married in a Catholic Church about 1890. They immigrated to Canada in 1906. They had 5 children. Any information would be appreciated. Please contact me at the above email address. You can write in either english or french. Thank you.

Re: Researching Coquet ancestry
Helene. I spoke with my dad about this and he told me you were his cousin. His name is Marcel. He had this coversation a number of years ago with your Uncle Don and while he was in France no one wanted to talk about anything further then what you have found. Uncle Don tried and nothing. I think that what you have already is about all you are going to get but you just never know who may come up with some answers for you. Jackie

This is in reply to Herman Coquet's message. Herman: Surfing the Net came across your message. Might interest you to know that my father (Lieutenant Lorenzo Enrique Coquet-Pissano) was an Argentine Naval Aviator. He died March of 1950 in the city of Punta Alta, Provincia de Buenos Aires. My grand father, Pedro Coquet, was the director of the Argentine Military College in Buenos Aires, Provincia de Buenos Aires; and I believe that my great gand father was Dr. Coquet, founder of the French-Argentine Hospital in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal. My father also had a sister, Carmen Coquet, a ballerina and dance instructor in the city of Buenos Aires. I don't know what happened to her, I was very young and lost contact with many of the family members. Myself, I am a Biologist living in the Southwestern United States, and have a brother, Carlos Rodolfo, a computer systems analyst living in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
