It has been awhile since you wrote this but was wondering how things have gone on this line....the Hussey line has not proven John to any family. In fact the ones they pick out their birth dates do not work. John's buried next to his son in the graveyard at the church and has his age written on it....I am sure this is the same John that was married to Marie/Mary Wood. It made sense since he was buried next to his son who died long before him. There are no other Hussey's buried in this church cemetery......what ever family John was with.....the close ones may have died before him....there is a thought he was from the Irish Hussey's......but again there is nothing to prove anything. I think when she got mixed into the new religion...John did not want to....she may have wanted to go with her son ......or he may have left before she got involved with it....either way.....he left for the seas and I think Mary made up the story about his death to cover the fact that they had split up.....she never remarried and I think it was because she knew she still was. Just a thought but being a woman makes it easier to figure her out.....she stuck to Christopher and stayed close by him.
