Hello Beverly. I am a direct descentant of Johann Jost Cope, b.) 1700 in Whittenberge, Prussian Saxony, Germany. He came to North America with his wife, Dorothea Germany in 1727 to settle in PA. Their first child, a son, Johann Nicholas, born on the high seas, 1727 is where my family line begins. If you will e-mail me, I will give you as much information as I can. I am trying to put together as much and complete information about my family.

Take care and have a good day.

Jim

How in the world did you find out all that information? Where did you go to get it?

I am looking for a Will Cope (deceased I am sure) who supposedly was the second husband of my grandmother, Minnie Cornatzer Burnette. They lived above Advance NC in the small community of Bixby. Can you help me? THANKS SO MUCH.
