Erastus m. 2nd 1851, Laura Ann (____), widow of William Doughty, b. 4 Jul 1818; d. 27 May 1897 Fostoria, Ohio. Erastus arrived in Wakeman, Ohio on 26 Oct 1817 after 40 days on the way, cleared his land and married school teacher, Ruth Squire, then 19 years old. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
