I'm trying to find information on a Jesse Richards of Franklin Co. North Carolina. I have found thru Court records that a Darling Sanders ( son of my ggggreat grand father ) bought 86 acres of land and gave Jesse Richards lifetime survival rights on the land. My GGGGrandfather was a James Sanders/Saunders and his wife a GILLY, trying to find out my Sanders ancestors.I am wondering if possibly Jesse Richards
could of been the father of Gilly by getting life time rights to live on the 86 acres. They lived in the area of Crooked Creek, before it runs into Tar River. a plat map of the area shows that Edward Cooley lived on one side of James Sanders and Jesse Richards on another and Jacob Hartsfield on the other.
James R. Sanders son of James & Gilly Sanders married Louisa Cooley, the R in his name I think could of been named for Richard. I need help on this for there has to be a connection by Darling Sanders giving Jesse Richards life time rights to live on the property,
I would appreciate any info that any one might have.
Thank you very much.
