Can anyone help?
I recently visited St Andrew's Church in
Tarvin,
Cheshire looking for
Cookson families from that area..
I found one which reads " Sacred to the memory of Matthew
Cookson of
Oscroft who died June 23rd 1851? aged 34 years"
I am aware of a marriage between Matthew
Cookson and Mary
Norton but that was in the 18th, century.
If anyone wishes to e-mail me privately, I will gladly let them have a copy of the pictures. I think they represent four graves in total but if anyone has information about matthew I would be delighted to hear from them.
