I was hoping s/he would add more info too. Mine left England for the Massachusetts, USA in the late 1600's to early 1700's. During the Revolutionary War my Cook's went North to Canada b/c they were Loyal to the English Gov't not the US. They stayed and produced multiple generations in Nova Scotia....Then my GGGrandfather left PEI(the only of his parents children born in PEI rather the Nova Scotia) and came to the US again, starting in Swampscott/Lynn areas of Massachusetts, then eventually going North to New Hampshire, where I hope he passed away cause he is buried here. He immigrated in 1881 with his wife Margaret Stewart and a few kids...They had other relatives(mainly sibs/cousin) that also immigrated.
