Tennie Cook Tinch, age 92, formerly of Franklin, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008 at Carlisle Manor in Carlisle.
She was born March 17, 1916 in Grainger County, Tennessee, the daughter of Willis and Gertrude (White) Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesse; daughters Juanita McGuire and Phyllis Holt; son Jerry; and grand-daughter Terri Jo McIntosh.
She is survived by her children, Maxine (Paul) Woodward and Betty (Jim) McIntosh, both of Middletown, OH; Sandy (Gil) Profitt of Franklin; Sharon (Ed) Pinkston of Virginia Beach; Patti (Paul) Lundy of Franklin; Stan (Teresa) Davis of Middletown, Larry (Debbie) Davis of Franklin; and her sister Gladys Purvis of Franklin. She also leaves 34 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main St., Springboro, with nephew Rev. Chuck Purvis officiating. Condolences may be made to the family at
