Hi,
Just saw your posting my g/g/grandmother was a MARTHA COOBAN, she married a James Stone circa 1900 this date is approx. She lived in Liverpool in the Bootle/Kirkdale area.
Hope this rings a few bells.

Hello Julie, I am not related, but I know someone who is!! My partner's mother's boyfriend is a 90year young son of James Stone & Martha Cooban!!!!! I have been digging around in his family history for all of 3 weeks, and decided just for the heck of it, to check the message boards on Ancestry.com and found your message. I am hoping you are still interested as I know Louis would be thrilled!!! By the way we are in West Australia, where are you?

Regards, Julie Smith
