Coo, Twiddy, Laden
My grandmother was named Lillian Maya Coo, her siblings were Mary, Irene and Len, that I know of so far, her parents were called Albert Coo and her mother was Eva Violet , Eva was previously married to William Larson, and lived at Gorlton on Sea nr Great Yarmouth, they had a son nmed Charles Baden Larson, I think Baden was Eva's maiden name. By 1916 William Larson was dead, Charles died at sea in WW1 in 1916, and by this time Eva was already married again to Albert and pregnant with len, who is the oldest Coo. Mary Coo rode the wheel of death at Belle Vue, Manchester. Most of the Coo history is a mystery as Lillian became pregant out of wed lock in around 1944, and had to move out of either Grimsby or Lincolnshire due to a family feud. She then met my grandfather Joseph Twiddy, who was also from lincolnshire. They then went on to have 4 more children. If any of this sounds familar plz mail me. Thx.

Coo
Due to the 1901 census now being available online, i have found an Albert Coo listed in Lincs, Grimsby, age 38 and his occupation is listed as Engineers shop keeper. I think this is "my" Albert. I will keep posting hoping someone else will be called Coo.

As an amateur genealogist I have traced the Coo family, via your Albert back to a marriage of George Coo in Fillingham in 1709. I should be interested to know your connection to Albert.

I found the marriage of Mary COO aged 20 to a Alfred Thomas GILBY in 1933 Grimsby
Also another sister Clara Irene aged 19 to John Holloway CLARK in 1927
There is a brother George Leonard COO aged 22 to a Irene GREAVES in 1939
Albert COO married Eva LARSON in 1913 in Grimsby
She married William Ludwig LARSEN in Yarmouth 1898 her maiden name was SMITH
I would think the "Baden" came from Baden Powell as in scouts as when Charles was born in 1900 Baden Powell was a national hereo due to the seige of Mafeking Boar War etc
Hope this helps
