Herby Contois was raised by his grandmother (my greatgrandmother) Alexandrina Bottineau who was married to Joseph Bottinea (born in the US). Joseph and Alexandrina were married 10/08/1885 in Lafontaine, Canada. The had 12 children: Annie, Delima (Herby's mother), Rosina, Rosalba, Dolorosa (my grandmother), Christiane, Delianne, Wilfred, Fred, Rossanne, Chrysostome (Christophe), and Albert. Xavier Contois (born in Quebec) married Marguerite Lafreniere and 10 children: Joseph Contois (who married Alexandrina Bottineau), Napoleon, Marguerite, Josephine (who married Joseph Bottineau, Alexandrina's brother), Rosanna, Elie, Telesphore, Peter, Delima, and Thomas. I have found on a census record that there was a Joseph Contois living in Quebec who was a twin and who died in 1964. I am looking for Joseph Contois who was married to Alexandrina Bottineau. They lived in Lafontaine/Penetanguishene area. My grandmother Dolorosa (Rose) was their daughter. Dolorosa died in 1992 at the age of 97. Delima (Liny)Contois and my grandmother, Dolorosa, are sisters. Does anyone have information regarding Joseph Contois who was born in the U.S. and moved to Canada?
