CONNOR Marvin G. Connor, 61, away February 13, 2010. Born November 20, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, Marvin graduated from Franklin University. Formerly employed by the Celanese Corporation and Gold Circle, he retired from Consolidated Stores. In addition to his active participation with the Hunger & Development Coalition of Central Ohio (HADCCO) and the Olde Towne East Neighborhood Association.
Marvin also enjoyed antiques, travel, and remodeling. Predeceased by father Charles W. Connor. Survived by mother, Katie Connor and sister, Donna Matthews, both of Columbus, Ohio; and brother, Connor of Denver, Colorado; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Service of Memory 10 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street, Columbus, Ohio where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service.
