Looking for more on Thomas Connelly (b. ~1825; resided in Pilot, Kankakee, IL, 1880 census). May also have gone by John Thomas or J. Thomas. Wife was Mary Doyle (~1835 to ~1898). Family lore is that they were married in Ireland (Co. Sligo?) before immigrating. Children included John, Harriet, Thomas, William, Catherine, Patrick Benjamin, Martin (my g'father), Dazy/Daisy, Ann/Anna, Edward Robert, and Ida Mae. Some in family use Connolly spelling for surname.
