I am interested in the information you have on James Madison Conn, Samuel and Simon Conn, and their families.

My line is Joseph Conn b/1805 who married Hannah b/ca 1807. They were in Cherokee Co, GA in 1850. I don't know the parents of either, or have death dates, places of burial.
Their son, Simon S. Conn, Sr b/ca 1826, GA married Alsrey Gentry in 1850 Cherokee Co, GA. I am descended through their son Simon S. Conn, Jr. Simon Sr and Joseph Conn were in the 1860 Mt Niles, St. Clair Co, AL census. I do not have a census record for either in 1870 or 1880. I show a Simean Conn b/ca 1824, GA in the 1880 Marshall Co, AL; which is the county my Conns presumably were living in after 1860. I am trying to eliminate that Simean Conn as my Simon Conn with a 2nd wife and later children (by his 2nd wife).

The info I show on James Madison Conn is as follows: b/3 Sep 1840, son of Samuel Conn (b/1809) and Elizabeth Ingram and grandson of John and Elizabeth Conn. I show about 13 children for Samuel, but no Simean/Simon. I don't think this is my direct line, but since several families were in Cherokee Co, GA and then in similar areas in Alabama, I am trying to track them all to some degree to be able to determine their relationships.

Please email me at poetmom@aol.com as I rarely check the boards. Thanks
