Hello,

I am looking for any information about my great grandfather, Floyd Jacob Conn.

He appears in the 1940 census of Dearborn, Michigan with his wife Elizabeth (Talbot) and their two sons, Joseph and Edward. This record says he was born in Pennsylvania. I found a 1910 census that shows an 8-year old Floyd Conn living with a Dodson family in Pennsylvania, but I have no evidence that this is him.

He appears in 1922 and 1928 city directories for Mansfield, Ohio, seemingly living alone. I know this is him because my grandfather said his father was from Mansfield.

He moved to the Detroit/Dearborn area between 1928 and 1930, and I believe he married Elizabeth Talbot (she was from Ontario) in 1930.

They lived in Dearborn until he died. I am trying to find out exactly when he died. My mother says it would have been some time around 1960, but she doesn't know the exact year. Apparently, he was hit by a car as he was exiting his parked car. I cannot find any record of death or news story.

I also would like to find out his parents' names and brothers and sisters.

And I know his wife re-married, but I don't know the name of her second husband.

I know it's a long shot, but I am hoping someone here can help.
