I just recently began my genealogy search. I found that my GG-Grndmother, Rosie Comeau, may be from Nova Scotia. She was married to William T. McBride and at one time they lived in Bloomfield, NS. William may have been a ships captian and he was killed at sea. They had a daughter, Helen, born in Bloomfield, NS 12/21/1876. Helen and Rosie later moved to Cape Cod, Mass. Helen later married Arhcibald S. Kidston (Born in Newfoundland). I am very interested in tracking Rosie Comeau, (not sure of her birthplace) but she was North American Indian. If you have any additional info. please let me know.
