I don't have much more information Re: Rosie Comeau. Just that after her husband died (William Thomas McBride) she remarried someone with the same last name of Comeau, (first name unknown) Both moved to Cape Cod, MA with their children, (one of which was Helen Marian McBride), the other two were daughters and I do not know if they were McBride's or Comeau's. After Rosie died (yr unknown) Everyone, except Helen McBride returned to Nova Scotia. According to one family member, Rosie Comeau was of North American Indian descent. Much of my family ancestory is out of Canada, NB, NS and Newfoundland. I have been a little gun shy about trying to locate Canadian genealogy resources.
