I am just returning to researching the Collier family, who were resident in the Beechworth area. The Collier family that I am interested in are the descendants of Thomas COLLIER born 1852 in Ireland and Catherine DOYLE born 1827 in Ireland. They married in Sydney in 1852. Thomas died in Beechworth in 1903, Catherine in Beechworth in 1889. They had quite a number of children, including John Collier who married Lillian Watson Wilberforce. I am in contact with a number of Collier relatives and have quite an amount of information, but not much on the following children of John and Lillian.

Margaret Ellen Collier, born 1880 Beechworth, married James Lewis Sampson BOND in 1908 in Victoria.

Catherine Louisa Collier, born 1882 Beechworth, married George William HINES in Beechworth in 1907

Mary Lillian Collier, born in 1883 in Beechworth, married Michael Thomas PHELAN in Victoria in 1912

Michael George Collier, born in 1884 in Beechworth, died in 1939 in Greensborough, Victoria

Thomas William Collier, born in 1886 in Beechworth, died in Caulfield, year unknown. Married a Violet, Last name unknown.

Walter Wilberforce Collier, born in Beechworth 1890, died in Caulfield 1931

John Edmond Maurice Collier, born in 1894

Alphonsus Cecil Collier, born in 1895 in Beechworth.

If anybody has any connection or information on these Colliers, I would be most appreciative. I have lots of other Collier information and am in touch with a wonderful Collier researcher . I also have a lot of Wilberforce and Ashdown information to share.
