I am also from McDonald Coleman's branch. His wife was Mary Ann Jones. Her sister Nancy married Wiley Watson. So after Mac and Mary died, he took in his nephews. Another sister, Frances/Francis marrried Richard C. Long. On the 1880 Census,
Trannie Belle Coleman (my great grandmother) is listed as Belle Coleman age 3 along with her oldest sister, Jane Coleman age 20. This older sister is actually Nancy Jane Coleman--named after her father's sister.

MacDonald Coleman died when Trannie was less than a year old.Apr 23, 1878. His wife, Mary, died exactly a year later. So far I can't find where either are buried. Thomas Coleman wrote that Mac was buried at Walton Cemetery, near Fulton MS. And that their mother was buried at Friendship Cemetery.

As you might have guessed. Trannie Fay is Trannie Belle's niece. Also been told that Hezekiah Coleman died in 1854 in Itawamba Co MS but not found where. It would be great to find Mac,Mary and Hezekiah.
