I am researching the family of Mousie Fletcher and George Cole. They are found in Magoffin County, Kentucky, in the 1920 Census with children: Roy, Ollie, Troy, Beecher, Mabel, Sanford, and Ada. In the 1930 Census, none are found with the possible exception of Beecher and Mousie (Maude), and she's now "married" to James Folston. The following children are listed as step-children to James: Beecher, Gracie, Alma, Aris and Bert... No Kentucky birth records show these children from Maude or Mousie Cole.

I'm confused. To add to it, Mousie Fletcher Cole died in 1943, and lists her husband as George Cole.

Can anyone assist me on this family line?
