I am a "Cole born in Harlan County" and have listings for many of the Coles from that general area. The closest I have to Leander is a Leonadis Lee who was the son of one of the many George and Mary Young Nicholson. He was born in 1856 according to my records but probably in Laurel County (which isn't far from Harlan. This George is another son of Mathew Cole of Lee County VA.
