I am hoping to find someone who may have some information about Emily COLCORD. Per the Colcord Genealogy book published in 1908 and in the LDS files, Emily was born in 1830 in Pompey, Onondaga, NY. She was the fifth child of Joseph COLCORD and Sally (DICKINSON) COLCORD. She married John Philander CALKINS (b. abt 1826) on 15 Nov 1848 and had three children by him: Gilbert Wilson b.1849, Mary b.1853, and Merville b. 1855. Emily died in 1857 leaving the three small children. All three show up in the 1860 US Census living with, and presumably being raised by, relatives. Any help whatsoever about Emily would be greatly appreciated.
Incidentally, I have a copy of the Colcord Genealogy book and would be willing to answer any questions about the COLCORD family that I can get from the book. (I know very little about the COLCORDs beyond the book.)
