I'm searching for related ancestors and had no idea the Colohan name was so common in the Clontuskert area. My ggrandmother was Ellen "Nellie" Colohan who was born 12 Oct (or Nov) 1879 and had a sister Mary, who both emigrated to Chicago. Their parents, Patrick Colohan and Bridget Fury, had other children: Daniel, Patrick, Anne, Bridget, and Catherine. I believe Bridget Fury's parents were Daniel Fury and Mary McGuinness. Bridget was born in 1857 in Clontuskert. Patrick Colohan's father was John Colohan and I'm not sure about the mother's name. If you have any information, please send me an e-mail. Regards, Marie
